What is required for my organization to access a trial of Signals Notebook?

Register and provide information according to the trial registration form. Please note that only the person registering will be provided with a trial.

Can I add my colleagues to this trial?

Per the above, all users interested in trialing Signals Notebook should submit their own request. You can then share experiments and data with your colleagues.

Should you want to test administrative functionality and manage your own trial system, including creating your own templates and user administration, please contact us.
Can I configure the system to meet my or my organization’s needs?

You will not have access to administrative functionality in this trial system. We are happy to provide your organization with a new, empty Signals Notebook system. To do so, please contact us.
What happens next after I have registered for my trial?

Check your inbox! You should receive two emails from us – one to set your password on our authentication system and one with the URL to access the trial system.
Will I need to install anything?

Signals Notebook is a cloud-based application that can be accessed via standard internet browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge). Please refer to the Hardware/Software guide for additional information.
Is there training available which can help us get started using Signals Notebook?

Under your username at the top right of the user interface, you will find a variety of Help Resources. This includes a Quick Start Guide, Training Videos, and a robust User Guide in the Help Center.

You will also receive a series of emails during your 15-day trial with additional resources.
How long will my trial last?
Is my data secure in Signals Notebook?

Protecting the security and confidentiality of customer data is paramount to Revvity Signals Software. Our SaaS Security Brochure provides detailed information on cloud security, data security, data backup, and more.

However, as this is a trial system, please exercise caution when uploading information sensitive to your organization.
Can Revvity Signals Software employees or other users in the trial system see my data?

No, our employees cannot see any data entered into the system. Other users in the system can only see data you explicitly share with them.
How often is Signals Notebook updated?

Signals Notebook is typically updated roughly every 4-6 weeks. Information on what has been released can be found on the "What's New" webpage. This link is also available under your username in the top right corner of the Signals Notebook interface.
Why don't I see all the functionality described in "What's New" in this trial system?

This free trial system is configured to give you a sample of some functionality related to common scientific workflows. It does not represent all of the functionality available within Signals Notebook.

We will be configuring functionality in this trial system as applicable when new functionality is released.
After the trial, what will happen to our data and user environment?

You are accessing a trial system. After the trial, your Signals Notebook login will be disabled.

Prior to the end of your trial, you can print your data in PDF format or export in the original format (MS Office, ChemDraw, etc.).
During updates, is Signals Notebook offline and unavailable for use?

Signals Notebook updates are prescheduled, and users will be notified in advance when they log into the application. Updates are scheduled to minimize business impact.
My trial expired, do I submit another form request?

You cannot submit more than one form with the same email. Please contact our support team to request a trial extension.
What can I expect after signing up for my trial?

Check your inbox! You'll receive two messages from us – one to establish your password in our authentication system and another containing the URL to access the trial platform.
